Warranty Coverage

  • Structural Frames — 3 years: Timber and metal frames against manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
  • Upholstery — 2 years: Material faults, seams, and fraying. Excludes normal wear, fading, or stretching.
  • Cushioning — 2 years: Loss of foam resiliency. Natural softening is not a defect.
  • Recliner Mechanisms — 2 years: Mechanism faults affecting function.
  • Surface Finishes — 1 year: Peeling, cracking, or excessive discolouration on wood, metal, or lacquer.

Warranty Conditions

  • Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
  • Normal residential use only; proper care must be followed.
  • Non-transferable; applies to the original purchaser.

Exclusions

  • Normal wear and tear (fading, pilling, cushion softening).
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, spills, or improper cleaning products.
  • Alterations or modifications after purchase.
  • Commercial or non-residential use.
  • Natural variations in wood grain, fabric texture, or colour.

How to Make a Claim

  • Contact: Email support@sovaraliving.com.au or call 1300 XXX XXX with order number, proof of purchase, and photos.
  • Assessment: We may request additional details or arrange inspection.
  • Resolution: Repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion, consistent with ACL.

This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
