WARRANTY POLICY

At Sovara Living, we deliver premium furniture designed for modern Australian living. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship, and our warranty is designed to give you peace of mind.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
1. Warranty Period
All Sovara Living products come with a 12-Month Warranty against manufacturing defects.

Coverage Start Date: The warranty period commences from the date of delivery or collection.

Scope: This warranty applies to the original purchaser for products used in a normal domestic environment.
2. What is Covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal residential use, including:

Structural Frames: Manufacturing faults in timber or metal frames (e.g., splitting or breaking).

Upholstery & Stitching: Manufacturing faults such as loose seams or fraying (excluding normal wear).

Mechanisms: Faults in recliner or sofa bed mechanisms affecting functionality.

Surface Finishes: Peeling or cracking of veneers, lacquers, or metal plating due to manufacturing defects.
3. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:

Normal Wear & Tear: Including fabric pilling, fading from sunlight, creasing, or standard softening of seat cushions/foam over time.

Accidental Damage: Damage caused by spills, burns, cuts, scratches, pets, or impacts.

Misuse: Damage resulting from improper assembly, jumping on furniture, dragging furniture, or using harsh chemical cleaning products.

Natural Variations: Timber grain, stone veining, leather scars, and slight dye-lot variations are characteristics of natural materials, not defects.

Modifications: Any product that has been altered or modified by the customer or a third party.

Commercial Use: Products used in non-residential settings (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
4. How to Make a Claim
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact our team immediately.

Details Required: Please include your Order Number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video showing the fault.

Assessment: Our team will assess your claim. We may request further information or arrange for an inspection to view the item.
Resolution:
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Sovara Living will, at its discretion:

Repair the product;

Replace the product (or the affected part); or

Provide a refund or store credit.

Note: Resolutions will be provided in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Care Instructions
To maintain your warranty eligibility, products must be cared for in accordance with our instructions.

Regular dusting and vacuuming.

Avoiding placement in direct sunlight or close to heat sources.
-
Using appropriate cleaning products for the specific material.
